Add Balance to a Gift Card (GoDaddy Terminal)

Gift Card balances can be increased directly using the Gift Card app on a GoDaddy terminal. Funds are added by selecting the Load option and completing the payment through the terminal.

Resolution

1) Open the Gift Card App

On the GoDaddy terminal, open the Gift Card app.

Retrieve the card by one of the following methods:

  • Swipe the magnetic strip

  • Scan the QR code

  • Manually enter the 8-digit Gift Card ID

2) Select Load

Once the card is retrieved, the Load or Redeem screen will appear.

Select Load.

3) Enter the Load Amount

Choose the value you wish to load onto the Gift Card.

You can also check the card’s current balance from this screen.

4) Complete the Payment

The terminal payment screen will open.

Process the payment as usual.

Wait for the confirmation message before proceeding.

Result

The selected amount is successfully added to the Gift Card balance.
