How to Add Digital Gift Card URLs with Pre-Populated Amounts to Your Website

Create direct purchase links for specific gift card values and add them to your website. Customers can click a button and immediately purchase a Digital Gift Card with a predefined amount.

Before You Begin

  • Your business must already be set up on the Facilipay Digital Gift Card platform.
  • You'll need access to your website's editor to add the resulting links.

Step-by-Step: Create Pre-Populated Gift Card Links

  1. Open the Gift Card Portal
    Go to gift.facilipay.io in your browser.

  2. Select Your Country
    Click the country dropdown arrow. Choose the country where your business is located.

  3. Search for Your Business
    Enter your business name in the Search field. Select your business from the search results.

  4. Choose a Gift Card Amount
    Hover your mouse over your business name. You'll see several digital voucher values available for purchase. Click the amount you want to create a link for (for example £15).

  5. Copy the Purchase Page URL
    You'll be taken to the Digital Gift Card purchase page. Copy the URL from the browser address bar. This link can be used directly on your website.

  6. Edit the Amount in the URL (Optional)
    The gift card amount can be changed by editing the amount value at the end of the URL. The URL format is:

    gift.facilipay.io/GroupID?amount=XXXX

    Example: https://gift.facilipay.io/4386?amount=1500

    In this example, 1500 = £15.00. To create other amounts, change the number:

    • amount=2500 = £25
    • amount=5000 = £50
    • amount=7500 = £75

  7. Add the Links to Your Website
    Use these URLs as buttons or links on your website. Each link takes customers directly to the purchase page for the selected Digital Gift Card amount.

What Happens After You Add

Customers clicking the link on your website are taken directly to the checkout page for the selected gift card value, making it faster and easier to purchase Digital Gift Cards.

Tips & Best Practices

  • Offer multiple amounts: Create buttons for £25, £50, £100 to suit different gift budgets.

  • Test each link: Click each button after publishing to confirm it loads the correct amount.
