How to Add or Redeem Loyalty (Without Quick Add)

Loyalty points or credit can be manually added or redeemed at checkout using the Facilipay Loyalty tender on Clover POS. This method is used when Quick Add is not enabled.

Before You Begin

  • You must have access to your Clover POS device with the Loyalty by Facilipay app installed.
  • Have the customer's QR code or account details ready.

Step-by-Step: Add or Redeem Loyalty

  1. Open Loyalty at Checkout
    At the Clover payment screen, select Loyalty by Facilipay.

  2. Retrieve the Customer Account
    Capture the customer's details by:

    • Scanning their QR code (physical card or mobile app), or
    • Manually searching by name or phone number

    Once the account is retrieved, choose either Add or Redeem.

  3. Add Loyalty (Optional)
    Select Add to apply loyalty to the transaction. Enter the order value using the keypad. The system automatically calculates and applies the loyalty reward based on your configured loyalty settings.

  4. Redeem Loyalty (Optional)
    Select Redeem to apply a loyalty discount. Enter the order total. The system automatically applies the eligible loyalty discount to the transaction.

  5. Complete the Transaction
    After selecting Add or Redeem, you'll be returned to the Clover Register screen. Complete the remaining balance using the customer's preferred payment method.


What Happens After You Save

Loyalty is added to or redeemed from the customer's account, and the transaction is completed on Clover POS.
