How to Add Your Digital Gift Link to Instagram Stories

Instagram Stories let you promote Digital Gift Cards by adding a direct checkout link. This provides an easy way for followers to purchase gift cards directly from your story.

Before You Begin

  • You must have an Instagram business account with story link functionality available.
  • Have your Facilipay Digital Gift URL ready before starting.

Step-by-Step: Add a Link to Your Instagram Story

  1. Create a Story
    Open the Instagram app. Tap Add to Story and create your story content (image, video, promotion, etc.).

  2. Open Stickers
    Tap the Sticker icon at the top of the screen.

  3. Select Link
    Choose the Link sticker option.

  4. Add Your Digital Gift URL
    Enter your Facilipay Digital Gift URL. Customise the link text (e.g. Buy a Digital Gift Card). Tap Done.

  5. Publish and Test
    Upload your story. After publishing, tap the link to ensure it works correctly. The story should display a "Visit Link" prompt when tapped.
