How to Amend Receipts to Promote Your Loyalty Program
Receipts are an effective but often under-utilised marketing tool. Customising your receipt header and footer reinforces your brand and promotes your loyalty program with every transaction.
Before You Begin
- You must have admin access to your Clover Dashboard.
- Have your loyalty messaging or call-to-action ready before configuring.
Step-by-Step: Customise Receipt Text
Log In to Clover Dashboard
Go to:- clover.com (US customers)
- eu.clover.com (European customers)
Log in to your Clover Dashboard.
Open Setup
Open the Setup app from your dashboard.Access Payment Receipts
Click Payment Receipts, then select Custom Header and Custom Footer Text.Add Loyalty Promotional Text
In the Custom Footer Text field, enter your loyalty message.Example:
"Download the Facilipay app on your smartphone to get rewarded for every purchase with us."
Save your changes.

Your customised receipt promotes your loyalty program with every transaction, helping increase app downloads and repeat customer engagement.

Keep it short: A clear, brief message lands better than a long sales pitch on a receipt.
