How to Complete a Gift Aid Donation with Your Phone Number on Facilipay Self Checkout

Donations mode must already be launched, with the pre-set amounts or custom amount field visible.
You must have previously completed a Gift Aid declaration at this location and registered your phone number.
Have your phone number, postcode, and payment card ready.

Select Your Amount On the Donations page, tap the amount you wish to donate.
Choose Use My Phone Number A prompt shows your chosen amount plus the 25% Gift Aid addition. Underneath the Donate with Gift Aid and Skip options, tap Use my Phone Number.
Enter Your Details Enter your phone number and postcode, then tap Done on the on-screen keyboard.

Note: Your details will only be retrieved if you have already made a Gift Aid declaration at this location.
Check Your Retrieved Details Your details are retrieved and displayed. Make sure they are correct.
Confirm the Declaration Tap the Gift Aid Declaration box, then tap Continue to Pay.
Choose Whether You Want a Receipt When asked if you'd like a receipt for the donation, tap the tick box if so.
Make Your Payment Tap or insert your card to complete the transaction.
Confirm the Donation Once the payment is successful, a Thank You for Your Donation message is displayed.

Declare once per location: Your details are only found if you've previously made a Gift Aid declaration at the same location, so a first-time donation at a new location needs the full declaration.
Check your details every time: Take a moment to confirm the retrieved name and address are still correct before ticking the declaration.
