How to Configure Loyalty Settings on Clover
Configure how loyalty rewards are applied to products directly from the Loyalty app on your Clover POS. Assign rewards to specific products, entire categories, and even exclude modifiers from loyalty redemption.
Before You Begin
- You must have access to your Clover device with the Facilipay Loyalty app installed.
- Decide on your loyalty type (Credit or Stamp) and reward values before configuring.
Step-by-Step: Configure Loyalty
Open the Loyalty App
Open the Facilipay Loyalty app on your Clover device.Choose Loyalty Type
The first time you access the Loyalty section, choose the loyalty type:- Credit
- Stamp
Open Setup
Tap Setup to configure how rewards apply to products.Select a Category
The system scans the product categories configured in the Register app. Select the category where you want loyalty rewards to apply.Choose Application Scope
Choose whether to:- Apply rewards category-wide, or
- Select individual products within the category.
Set Reward Values
Configure the loyalty reward value for each item or category.Configure More Categories
Tap Back to configure additional categories or exit the setup.
Exclude Modifiers from Loyalty
You can also exclude specific modifier groups from loyalty redemption. For example, if a coffee has a "Large" modifier costing €0.50, the modifier can remain chargeable even when a loyalty reward is redeemed.
- Open the Setup section of the Loyalty configuration.
- Locate the modifier groups associated with the product.
- Select the groups you want to exclude from loyalty rewards.

Reward what matters: Apply loyalty to high-margin or high-frequency items to maximise impact.
Review regularly: Check your loyalty settings periodically — new products often need configuration.
