How to Connect an AIBMS (Fiserv) Authipay eCommerce Account for Online Payments
Authipay is one of the gateways that integrates with Facilipay to enable you to accept online orders and sell digital gift cards. This guide walks you through requesting and connecting your AIBMS / Fiserv Authipay account.
Before You Begin
- Confirm whether you already have an existing eCommerce account with AIBMS or First Data Connect.
- If you do not yet have an account, you'll need to request one through your AIBMS account manager before connecting to Facilipay.
If You Already Have an Authipay Account
If you already have an active eCommerce account with AIBMS or First Data Connect, contact support@facilipay.io with the following details:
- Store ID
- Shared Secret
- Fiserv API Key
- Fiserv API Secret
These details are provided by AIBMS / Fiserv when you first created your Authipay account and will be in an email you received (the values typically look something like iT%op$.).
If you cannot locate the details, contact your AIBMS account manager or email authipay@aibms.com from the registered account holder's email address and they will provide the credentials.
If You Do Not Yet Have a Connect Account
If you do not already have an Authipay Connect account, email your AIBMS Account Manager and request that they activate the service on your account with the following settings:
- Enable the Virtual Terminal / Connect access for the client
- Enable API Access
- Set
cardCodeMandatoryto false within the merchant configuration - Add the 3DSecure service
- Within the 3DSecure service, Integration should be set to Server (instead of Library) to enable 3DS 1.0
Final Step: Send the Details to Facilipay
Once you receive your Authipay credentials from AIBMS, forward them to support@facilipay.io. We'll connect them to your account so you can begin accepting online payments.
Tips & Best Practices
Have credentials ready before requesting a connection: All four credentials are required — missing details delay connection.
Use a secure channel: Treat Authipay credentials like any other sensitive payment information.
Test after connection: Run a small test transaction (such as a digital gift card purchase) to confirm the integration is live.
