How to Create Promotions for Your Experience Listings
Promotions on Experience Vouchers allow flexible discounts that can be applied at any time, letting you target specific times of year (e.g. Black Friday) to drive sales.
Before You Begin
- You must be logged into the Facilipay Dashboard with admin access.
- Have your offer details, target audience, and any limits decided before starting.
Step-by-Step: Create a Promotion
Start a New Campaign
- Log in to the Facilipay Dashboard
- Click Create (top right)
- Select Campaign
- Choose Targeted
Enter Campaign Details
Complete the following fields:- Name: Clearly describe the offer (e.g. 10% off gift cards)
- Description: Provide more detail about the campaign
- Terms and Conditions: Outline any restrictions or limits
Set the Schedule (Optional)
- Click Edit under schedule
- Configure when the campaign runs — date range and specific times of day if needed
Note: If no schedule is set, the campaign will run indefinitely.
Apply Limits (Optional)
Configure usage limits if required:- Total Budget: Maximum total discount value across all customers
- Max Coupons: Total number of redemptions allowed
- Max Coupons per User: Limit per customer
- Max Value per Coupon: Maximum discount per redemption
Configure Parameters
- Click Parameters (top menu)
- Ensure the following are left empty:
- Demographic Selection
- Transaction Filters
Note: This ensures the campaign is available to customers without accounts.
Set the Reward
- Click Rewards (top menu)
- Select Discount Product / Category
- Click the edit (pencil) icon
- In the product selector, search for the product, click the + icon next to the item, open the Selected tab, and click Done
- Set the discount: enter the value (e.g. 10), select Percent, then click Save
Review and Launch
Click Review, check all campaign details, then click Release.
What Happens After You Save
Your campaign is live and available for customers to redeem at checkout in your online store.
Tips & Best Practices
Time it well: Schedule promotions around peak gifting periods (Black Friday, Christmas, Mother's Day).
Promote heavily: Use email and social to drive awareness during the campaign window.
Set sensible limits: Limits protect your margin while still creating excitement.
