How to Customise Menu Availability for Different Dispatch Methods

Control which items appear for different dispatch methods such as Collection, Delivery, or Table Service. This lets you customise your menu depending on how customers choose to receive their orders.

Before You Begin

  • You must be logged into the Facilipay Business Portal with admin access.
  • The product must already exist in your inventory.

Step-by-Step: Configure Dispatch Availability

  1. Open the Facilipay Business Portal
    From the Facilipay Business Portal, navigate to your dashboard.

  2. Go to Products
    From the side menu, select Inventory, then click Products.

  3. Search for the Item
    Use the search bar to find the product you want to update.

  4. Open the Product Settings
    Click on the item to open its configuration menu.

  5. Enable Ordering
    Make sure Available for Ordering is turned on.

  6. Select Dispatch Methods
    Choose which dispatch methods the item should be available for. You can select one or multiple options:

    • Collection
    • Fixed Delivery
    • Delivery
    • Table Service (if enabled)
  7. Save Your Changes
    Click Save to apply.


What Happens After You Save

The selected product appears only on the menus associated with the dispatch methods you selected. Customers using other methods won't see it.


Tips & Best Practices

  • Use for dispatch-specific items: Some items are only viable for certain dispatch methods — for example, table-service-only specials.

  • Test by switching methods: Verify the menu displays correctly under each dispatch method on the customer view.
