How to Disable Online Ordering from Your Clover POS
Sometimes things get too busy and you need to pause online orders. Disable online ordering directly from your Clover POS so you can focus on existing orders without new ones piling up.
Before You Begin
- You must have access to your Clover POS device with the Online Ordering app installed.
- Decide how long online ordering should remain disabled before you start.
Step-by-Step: Disable Online Ordering
Open Preferences
Open the Online Ordering app on your Clover POS, tap the three dots in the top right, then select Preferences.Access Ordering Availability
Tap Ordering Availability.Disable Ordering
Choose how you want to disable online ordering:Set a time period: Online ordering will automatically resume after the selected time.
Disable manually: Online ordering will remain off until you re-enable it.
What Happens After You Save
Online ordering is disabled based on your selected settings. Customers visiting your online ordering page will see a notice that orders are unavailable.
