How to Enable Credit-Back Loyalty on Clover (Payments Plus)

Credit-back loyalty rewards customers with a percentage of their spend returned as account credit. This encourages increased spend per visit and supports overall revenue growth. Credit-back loyalty is configured in the Facilipay Dashboard and synced to Clover POS.

Before You Begin

  • You must be logged into the Facilipay Dashboard with admin access.
  • Decide on the percentage to credit back before configuring.

Step-by-Step: Enable Credit-Back Loyalty

  1. Access Loyalty Settings
    From the Facilipay Dashboard, hover over Settings and select My Loyalty.

  2. Edit Loyalty Type
    Locate Loyalty Type and click Edit. In the configuration window:

    • Enable Credit
    • Set Behaviour Type to Spend

    Define the reward percentage. Example: setting 10% means customers receive 10% of their transaction value back as account credit. Once configured, click Save.

  3. Refresh the Loyalty App on Clover
    To ensure the new settings apply on your Clover device, open the Facilipay Loyalty app on Clover.

    On Clover Station:

    • Tap the Refresh icon on the Loyalty home screen.
    • The app will briefly close and reopen with updated settings.

    On Clover Flex:

    • Tap the three lines in the top left corner.
    • Select the Refresh option at the bottom of the menu.

What Happens After You Save

Credit-back loyalty is enabled and synced to your Clover device. Customers receive credit based on their spend according to the configured percentage.

  • Start with a sustainable percentage: A 5–10% reward is common — balance customer attraction with margin.

  • Communicate the offer: Make sure customers know they're earning credit so they engage fully.
