Enabling Collection for Online Ordering

Collection is one of the dispatch methods available for online orders — perfect for customers who want to order on the go and pick up at your store.

Before You Begin

  • You must be logged into the Facilipay Dashboard with admin access.
  • The branch must already be set up in the dashboard.

Step-by-Step: Enable Collection

  1. Open Branch Settings
    Log in to the Facilipay Dashboard, click My Business, then select Branches.

  2. Select a Branch
    Click the three dots next to the branch you want to edit.

  3. Open Ordering Settings
    Click Ordering in the top menu.

  4. Enable Collection
    Select Collection from the top menu, click Edit, then toggle Collection Enabled on.

  5. Save Your Changes
    Click Save.


What Happens After You Save

The branch is now enabled to accept collection orders. Customers can choose collection at checkout when placing online orders.

  • Set clear collection instructions: Tell customers where to go and what to bring (e.g. order number).

  • Match prep time to demand: Underestimating prep time leads to disappointed customers — build in a small buffer.

  • Test before going live: Place a test collection order to confirm the experience works as expected.
