Facebook: How to Add Your Product on the Ecommerce Site
Add your product (such as a digital gift card) to your Facebook ecommerce catalogue so customers can browse and buy directly through Facebook. This guide covers product creation and shop setup.
Before You Begin
- You must have a Facebook Business Page with Commerce Manager set up.
- Have product images (minimum 500×500px), name, description, and pricing ready.

Step-by-Step: Add Your Product in Facebook
Open Facebook Commerce Manager
Log in to your Facebook account and go to Commerce Manager.Navigate to Your Catalogue
In Commerce Manager:- Click Catalog in the left menu.
- Go to the Items tab.
Add Items to Your Catalogue
- Click Add Items.
- Choose Add multiple items from the dropdown.
- Select Manual and click Next.
Complete Your Product Details
In the form that appears:- Upload a product image (minimum 500×500px, JPEG or PNG, max 8MB).
- Enter a product name.
- Add a clear description.
- Fill out any other required fields such as price and SKU.
- Provide as much detail as possible — well-described products convert better.
When finished, click Upload items, then select Done.
Add the Product to Your Facebook Shop
Once your product is in your catalogue:
- Go to your Facebook Page.
- Click the three dots button near your page's call-to-action.
- Select Add Action Button (or edit your existing shop button).
- Choose View Shop as the button action so visitors can see your product.
Now the shop button redirects users directly to the product(s) you added.
Optional: Share your product as a regular Facebook post to increase visibility and encourage sales.
