How to Get Modifiers to Print on Online Ordering Receipts (Clover POS)
Ensure modifiers print on your receipts so the kitchen has all the information needed for customer orders — configured directly from your Clover POS device.
Before You Begin
- You must have access to your Clover POS device.
Step-by-Step: Enable Modifier Printing
Open Setup
From the Clover home screen, open the Setup app.Go to Receipt Settings
From the left-hand menu, tap Payment Receipts.Enable Modifiers
- Enable Line Items
- Tap Modifiers
- Select Show All Modifiers
What Happens After You Save
All item modifiers are now included on printed receipts. Kitchen staff can see exactly what each customer ordered including any extras, swaps, or customisations.
Tips & Best Practices
Apply across all printers: Make sure modifier printing is consistent across kitchen, bar, and counter printers.
Test after enabling: Place a test order with modifiers to confirm they print correctly.
