For some merchants who use Facilipay on their payments terminal, or via web and mobile apps, there may not be a direct integration of transactions with your primary POS. In this case, you need to manually record each Facilipay loyalty redemption transaction on your POS so your financial reports stay accurate.
Step-by-Step: Set Up POS Reconciliation
Create a New Tender Type on Your POS
Create a new tender type so you can record when payment has been made via a Facilipay loyalty balance. Your POS should let you create a new tender type either from an online dashboard or directly on the POS. Name the new tender type "Facilipay Loyalty".Use the New Tender at the Till
When customers pay using a balance on a Facilipay account, your staff can record the transaction as paid on the POS by selecting the new Facilipay tender type.
What This Achieves
Loyalty can consist of either Stamps, Credit, or Points. The Facilipay Dashboard records each time customer loyalty is earned and redeemed. By recording loyalty redemptions against sales on your POS, you ensure:
