How to Capture Customer Details on Your Smartphone App

Locate and view a customer's account details on your smartphone using the Facilipay Merchant App. This lets you apply loyalty rewards, gift transactions, or review account information on the move.

Before You Begin

  • You must have the Facilipay Merchant App installed on your device.
  • Have at least one piece of customer information available (account number, name, email, or QR code).

Step-by-Step: Locate a Customer Account

  1. Open the App
    Open the Facilipay Merchant App on your device.

  2. Choose a Search Method

    1. Search by ID, Name, or Email
      1. Enter the customer's ID, name, or email address.
      2. Alternatively, use the toggle to search using the account number.
      3. Select the correct customer from the search results.
    2. Scan QR Code
      1. Open the QR scanner inside the app.
      2. Position the customer's QR code within the camera frame.
      3. Wait for the app to recognise the code and load the account.
  3. View Customer Details
    Once located, the customer account screen displays:

    • Customer name
    • Account balance
