How to Capture Customer Details on your Smartphone App
Merchants need to locate and view a customer’s account details on their smartphone in order to apply loyalty rewards, gift transactions, or review account information.
Follow the steps below to locate a customer account:
- Open the Facilipay Merchant App on your device.
- Choose one of the following methods:
- Search by Account Number., ID, Name, or Email
- Enter the customer’s ID, name, or email address.
- Alternatively, use the toggle to search using the account number
- Select the correct customer from the search results.
- Scan QR Code
- Open the QR scanner inside the app.
- Position the customer’s QR code within the camera frame.
- Wait for the app to recognise the code and load the account.
- Search by Account Number., ID, Name, or Email
- Once located, the customer account screen will display:

- Customer name
- Account balance
