How to Create a new Cashless Customer at the Clover POS

Get customers account set up with ease so they can start processing your transactions

Step 1: Open the Cashless app

  1. From the Clover home screen, open the Cashless app

Step 2: Scan or tap the card

  1. Ask the customer to:
    • Scan the QR code, or
    • Tap their card on the HID/card reader
  2. The system will detect that the card is not linked to an account

Step 3: Create a new account

  1. Enter the customer’s name
  2. Tap Create a New Card

Step 4: Confirm account creation

  1. The account will be created
  2. A screen will display showing a zero balance

Step 5: Complete registration (recommended)

  1. Tap the back button
  2. Scan or tap the card again
  3. Enter the following details:
    • Email address
    • Password

Note: Registration can be skipped, but completing it is recommended for full account access and recovery.


Result

The Cashless account is now set up and ready to use.
