How to View a Balance on a Clover Device

Check a customer's balance directly on your Clover POS device without processing a sale — useful for confirming available funds before a transaction.

Before You Begin

  • You must have access to the Facilipay app on your Clover POS device.
  • The customer must be present with their card or QR code.

Step-by-Step: Check a Customer's Balance

  1. Open the Facilipay App
    On the Clover device, open the Facilipay app from the home screen.

  2. Tap the Customer's Card
    Tap the customer's card on the contactless reader, or scan their QR code.

  3. Review the Balance
    The customer's profile and current balance will display on the screen.

  • Confirm before transacting: Checking a balance is useful for letting the customer know what they can spend before starting a sale.
