How to Issue a Gift Card on the Facilipay Merchant App

Issue gift cards to customers without being tied to a POS, allowing flexibility with how your business accepts funds from customers. The Merchant App lets you issue from any smartphone or tablet.

Before You Begin

  • You must have the Facilipay Merchant App installed and be logged in.
  • Have the customer's QR code or account details ready.

Step-by-Step: Issue a Gift Card

  1. Open and Log In
    Open the Facilipay Merchant app and log in to your account.

  2. Find the Customer Account
    Tap Scan to open the QR scanner, OR search using:

    • Name
    • Email address
    • Account ID

    Select the correct customer account.

  3. Add Balance

    1. Tap the Gift button
    2. Enter the amount to add
    3. Tap Add

What Happens After You Save

The balance is added to the customer's account. A confirmation notification is displayed and the transaction is complete.

  • Scan when possible: Scanning is faster and avoids manual entry errors.

  • Verify the customer: Always confirm the right account before issuing a gift card.
