How to Link a Card to an Account on a PAX Device
Additional cards can be linked to a customer or staff account so the balance is shared, allowing any linked card to complete a transaction.
Before You Begin
- You must have access to the Facilipay app on your PAX device.
- Have both the existing card and the new card you want to link to hand.
Step-by-Step: Link a New Card
Scan the Existing Card
Open the Facilipay app, go to Gift, then scan the customer's card.Open Account Details
Once the card is scanned and the balance is displayed, tap the icon in the top right (under "Gift").View Linked Items
Tap Linked Items to review all cards currently linked to the account.Add a New Card
Tap Link Item, then scan or tap the new card.Confirm Linking
Tap Link Item again to confirm.
What Happens After You Link
The new card is successfully linked to the account and will appear in the Linked Items list. It can now be used for transactions just like the original card.
