How to Link a Physical Card to an Account Created from an Experience Voucher

When an Experience Voucher is purchased, a customer account is automatically created and linked to a digital voucher card. Link a physical card to this account so the customer can redeem the voucher using their physical card.

Before You Begin

  • You must have access to the Facilipay Business Portal and the merchant order confirmation email.
  • Have the physical card ready with its number and CVV.

Step-by-Step: Link a Physical Card

  1. Open the Order Confirmation Email
    When an experience voucher is purchased, the merchant receives an Order Received email. This email confirms:

    • The item purchased
    • The card/account number created
    • A Track Customer link

    Click Track Customer in the email.

  2. Open the Customer Profile
    The Track Customer link opens the customer account within the Facilipay Business Portal. You'll be prompted to edit the customer profile.

  3. Link the Physical Card
    Within the customer profile, locate the option to link a card. Enter the following details from the physical card:

    • Card Number
    • Card CVV

    Click Link. If the details are correct, the physical card will be connected to the customer account.

  4. Confirm the Digital Voucher Card
    From the order confirmation email, note the digital card number that was created when the voucher was purchased. This card is currently linked to the account.

  5. Unlink the Digital Card
    Once the physical card is linked, you can remove the digital voucher card. From the customer profile in the Business Portal, locate the digital card and click Unlink next to the card number.


What Happens After You Save

The physical card is now linked to the customer account, allowing the customer to redeem the voucher value using their physical card.
