How to Load / Sell a Gift Card on a PAX Terminal

Sell and load value onto a physical gift card directly from a PAX POS device using the Facilipay Gift app. The card is activated and ready for the customer to use after payment.

Before You Begin

  • You must have access to your PAX terminal with the Facilipay Gift app installed.
  • Have the customer's physical gift card ready.

Step-by-Step: Load and Sell a Gift Card

  1. Open the Gift Card Menu
    On the PAX terminal home screen, tap Gift to open the gift card menu.

  2. Enter or Scan the Card Number
    Enter the gift card number manually or tap the QR code icon to scan the card.

  3. Enter the Load Amount
    Once the card is detected, enter the amount you want to load onto the gift card using the Add option.

  4. Take Payment
    The terminal prompts you to take payment for the gift card purchase.

  5. Confirm Activation
    After the payment is processed, the gift card balance is updated with the loaded amount. The card is active and ready for the customer to use.
