How to Modify a Gift Card Balance on Clover

Adjust a customer's gift card balance on a Clover device. Use this when you need to top up a card or apply a redemption outside a normal sale.

Before You Begin

  • You must have access to your Clover device with the Facilipay Gift Cards app installed.
  • Have the customer's gift card or its number ready.

Step-by-Step: Modify a Gift Card Balance

  1. Open the Gift Card App
    On the Clover device, open the Gift Card app and enter or scan the customer's gift card number.

  2. Choose Top Up or Pay With
    Select Top Up Gift Card to increase the balance, or Pay With Gift Card to decrease it.

  3. Enter the Amount
    Enter the amount to add or redeem and confirm — the new balance is updated automatically.
