Redeem a Gift Card on Clover POS (Register)

Accept the balances from the cards that you business has sold

Step 1: Create the order

  1. Open the Register app from the Clover home screen
  2. Add items to the order as normal

Step 2: Go to payment

  1. Once all items are added, tap Pay
  2. This will take you to the payment screen

Step 3: Select Gift Card payment

  1. Under the Other section
  2. Tap Gift Card by Facilipay

Step 4: Enter or scan the card

  1. Tap QR Scan to scan the customer’s gift card QR code

    OR

  2. Enter the gift card number manually in the field provided
  3. Tap Confirm

Step 5: Redeem the balance

  1. Review the customer account details shown:
    • Current gift card balance
    • Order total
  2. Tap Redeem to apply the gift card balance to the transaction

Step 6: Complete the transaction

  1. You will be automatically returned to the Register app
  2. A successful payment confirmation will be displayed
  3. Print a receipt if required

Result

The payment is completed using the customer’s Facilipay Gift Card.
