How to Remove Products from the Basket (Facilipay Register on PAX)
You can remove items from an active order in the Facilipay Register on a PAX device, allowing staff to adjust orders in real time when a customer changes their selection.
Before You Begin
- You must be on the Facilipay Register screen on your PAX device.
- The order should already have items added to the basket.
Step-by-Step: Remove Items
Open the Basket
On the PAX Register screen, tap Basket when multiple items are present in the order. This displays all items currently added to the transaction.Remove a Single Item
Locate the item you want to remove. Tap the minus (−) symbol beside the product until the quantity reduces to 0. The item is then removed from the basket.Clear the Entire Basket (Optional)
To remove all items from the order, tap the bin icon in the top right corner.
To return to the Register screen, tap the back arrow in the top left.
What Happens After You Remove Items
The selected items are removed from the active order, and the basket reflects the updated transaction total ready for payment.
Tips & Best Practices
Confirm before clearing: Tapping the bin icon clears all items — double-check before using it.
