Add Rewards to Closed Orders

This article explains how to add loyalty rewards to a transaction that has already been completed using Facilipay on your Clover device.

Overview

If a customer’s purchase was not rewarded with loyalty points at the time of sale, you can retroactively add those rewards through the Clover Loyalty interface. This ensures customers receive the correct points or reward benefits for past transactions.


Step-by-Step: Reward a Closed Order

Follow these steps on your Clover device:

1. Open the Loyalty App

Open the Loyalty by Facilipay app on your Clover device.

2. Go to History

Tap History to search through past transactions.
You can use the Calendar icon to filter by date if needed.

3. Select “Reward a Closed Order”

Tap Reward a Closed Order from the available options.

4. Choose the Transaction

Browse or search the list and tap on the order you want to reward.

5. Scan the Customer’s Card

Scan the customer’s loyalty card or QR code to assign the rewards to the correct account.
Proceed through the prompts to complete the reward assignment.

  • Use Search Filters: If you’re looking for a specific transaction, use the calendar or search functions to narrow down results.

  • Confirm the Customer: Always verify you have the correct customer before assigning rewards.

  • Reward Eligibility: Only reward past orders that did not already receive loyalty points — double-rewarding may affect loyalty campaign accuracy.


What Happens Next

Once the rewards have been added:

  • The customer’s loyalty balance is updated immediately in the Facilipay system.

  • The customer will see their updated rewards balance the next time they use the app or loyalty system.
