How to Search Past Orders in the Order Ahead App

Search for previously placed orders directly within the Order Ahead app on a Clover device. This lets staff quickly locate orders for customers collecting pre-orders or review previously completed transactions.

Before You Begin

  • You must have access to the Order Ahead app on your Clover device.
  • Have the customer's name or email address ready to search.

Step-by-Step: Search Past Orders

  1. Open the Order Ahead App
    Open the Order Ahead app on your Clover device.

  2. Open the Search
    Tap the magnifying glass icon in the top-right corner of the screen.

  3. Enter Customer Details
    Search through Accepted or Completed Orders by entering the customer's name or email address.

  4. Review the Results
    The system automatically displays all orders associated with the information entered.

  • Search by email for accuracy: Email addresses are usually unique and easier to search by than names.

  • Verify the order with the customer: Confirm the order details with the customer before handing it over.
