Set Products Available for Pre-Ordering

Merchants can control which products or categories are available for online pre-ordering directly from the Order Ahead app on a Clover device. This allows businesses to quickly enable or disable items so customers can only pre-order products that are currently available.

  1. Open the Order Ahead app on your Clover device.

  2. Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of the screen.

  3. Select Preferences.

  4. Tap Set Product Availability (this will be the first option in the menu).

  5. You will now see a list of items. Use the toggle beside each product to mark it as:

    1. Available for Ordering, or

    2. Not Available for Ordering.

  6. To enable or disable products in bulk, tap Categories at the top of the screen and toggle availability for the entire category or individual items within it.

Once updated, customers will only be able to pre-order items that are marked as available for ordering.
