Tablet Ordering - External Printer Compatibility & Setup (Bluetooth)

Before you begin

  • Ensure your printer supports Bluetooth connectivity
  • Turn the printer on
  • Pair the printer with your tablet using the device’s Bluetooth settings

Note: Facilipay primarily supports Star Micronics printers (e.g. mC-Print3). Other printers may work, but compatibility is not guaranteed. A LAN connection is recommended for best reliability.

Step 1: Pair the printer

  1. Open your tablet’s Bluetooth settings
  2. Select your printer from the available devices
  3. Confirm the connection

Step 2: Open the app

  1. Open the Order Ahead app

Step 3: Access printer settings

  1. Tap the three dots (top right)
  2. Select Preferences

Step 4: Add a printer

  1. Scroll to Printer Management
  2. Tap Add a printer

Step 5: Select Bluetooth printer

  1. Choose Bluetooth from the options
  2. Select your printer from the list

Result

Your Bluetooth printer is connected and ready to print orders.

Tip

If the printer does not appear, ensure it is paired correctly in your tablet’s Bluetooth settings before retrying.
