Tablet Ordering - External Printer Compatibility & Setup (Bluetooth)

Online Ordering on tablet can utilise external printers connected on the same network as the tablet via Bluetooth. We'll explain how below.

Before you begin

  • Ensure your printer supports Bluetooth
  • Turn the printer on
  • Pair the printer with your tablet via Bluetooth settings

Note: Facilipay primarily supports Star Micronics printers (e.g. mC-Print3). Other printers may work, but compatibility is not guaranteed.

Supported printer example

Step 1: Pair the printer

  1. Open your tablet’s Bluetooth settings
  2. Select your printer from available devices
  3. Confirm the connection

Step 2: Open the app

  1. Open the Order Ahead app on your tablet

Step 3: Access printer settings

  1. Tap the three dots (top right)
  2. Select Preferences

Step 4: Add a printer

  1. Scroll to Printer Management
  2. Tap Add a printer

Step 5: Select Bluetooth printer

  1. Choose Bluetooth
  2. Select your printer from the list

Result

Your printer is connected and ready to print orders.

Tip

If the printer does not appear, ensure it is properly paired in your tablet’s Bluetooth settings before retrying.
