Unlink A Card from an account on a PAX device
Once a card has been redeemed fully this can be unlinked from the account so it can be resold
Step 1: Scan the card
- Open the Gift App within Facilipay
- Scan the card you want to unlink
Tip: This is the same process used to check a gift card balance.
Step 2: Open account details
- Once the balance is displayed
- Tap the icon in the top right (under “Gift”)
Step 3: View linked items
- Tap Linked Items
- Review all cards linked to the account
Step 4: Unlink the card
- Tap the bin icon next to the card you want to remove
- Review the confirmation message
- Tap Accept to proceed
Result
The card is unlinked from the account.
- It will no longer show a balance when scanned
- It can be reused or resold if required
Tip
Always confirm with the customer before unlinking a card, as this action removes access to the associated balance.
