Unlink A Card from an account on a PAX device

Once a card has been redeemed fully this can be unlinked from the account so it can be resold

Step 1: Scan the card

  1. Open the Gift App within Facilipay
  2. Scan the card you want to unlink

Tip: This is the same process used to check a gift card balance.


Step 2: Open account details

  1. Once the balance is displayed
  2. Tap the icon in the top right (under “Gift”)

Step 3: View linked items

  1. Tap Linked Items
  2. Review all cards linked to the account

Step 4: Unlink the card

  1. Tap the bin icon next to the card you want to remove
  2. Review the confirmation message
  3. Tap Accept to proceed

Result

The card is unlinked from the account.

  • It will no longer show a balance when scanned
  • It can be reused or resold if required

Tip

Always confirm with the customer before unlinking a card, as this action removes access to the associated balance.
