How to Use Retail CP Order Display with Online Ordering

Retail CP Kitchen Order Display can be used to display Facilipay online orders on an Android tablet. Orders automatically appear on the display when correctly configured with Clover labels and prep times.

Before You Begin

  • You'll need an Android tablet for the Kitchen Order Display.
  • You should have admin access to your Clover device and Facilipay Dashboard.

Step-by-Step: Install and Configure

  1. Install Retail CP Kitchen Order Display
    Install the Retail CP Kitchen Order Display app. We recommend:

    • The Retail CP app on your Clover device
    • The Kitchen Order Display APK on an Android tablet

    The Android display app can be accessed via the Retail CP support page on Clover.

    Note: As the tablet version is an APK file, you may need to allow installations from Google Chrome within the tablet's settings.

  2. Download the Display App on the Tablet
    On the Clover device, open Retail CP from the right-hand menu. This opens the Retail CP support page. Tap Download in the top right corner to install the Kitchen Order Display app on the Android tablet.

  3. Link the Tablet to Clover
    Open the Kitchen Order Display app on the tablet, select your region, then link the tablet to your Clover account by:

    • Logging in (not supported on all tablets), or
    • Scanning the QR code shown on the Retail CP support page (recommended).

    Once scanned, the tablet connects to your Clover account.

  4. Configure Labels and Prep Times
    To ensure online orders appear on the display:

    1. Open the Retail CP app on your Clover device.
    2. The app pulls all Labels from your Clover Inventory.

    Only labels with a Prep Time set will appear on the Kitchen Display.

    • Set prep times only on labels assigned to items available for online ordering.
    • The prep time should match your prep time configured in the Facilipay Dashboard.

    Important: Items must have labels assigned in Clover Inventory for Order Display to function correctly.

    Save the settings once complete.

  5. Configure Display Settings
    On the tablet, tap the three dots in the top right corner to open settings. You can configure:

    • Display Open Orders only, or Open and Completed Orders
    • Auto-refresh interval
    • Maximum order age

    Adjust these settings to suit your kitchen workflow.

  6. Process Orders
    Once configured, online orders automatically appear on the display when:

    • The item has a valid Clover label
    • The label has a prep time set

    Modifiers appear in red text for visibility. Once an order is completed, tap Done to remove it from the display.
