Cancelling Your Facilipay Merchant Account
We're sorry to hear you'd like to close your account. Please review the following details so we can handle your cancellation as smoothly as possible.
Before You Begin
- Review your current billing cycle — cancellations can only be processed at the end of a billing cycle.
- Download any reports or data you need before your account closes — once cancelled, this information becomes inaccessible.
- Be prepared to delete all associated POS apps to fully cancel your service.
How to Submit a Cancellation Request
Provide 30 Days' Written Notice
As per our Terms of Service, we require 30 days' written notice to process an account cancellation.Send Your Notice
Submit your cancellation by email to accounts@facilipay.io, or by letter to our registered address. Please include your business name and the email address registered to your account.Understand Your Final Billing
Cancellations take effect at the end of your billing cycle. As billing is in arrears, you will receive one final invoice covering the notice period in the following payment cycle.Delete Your POS Apps
To fully cancel your service, delete all Facilipay apps from your Point of Sale devices. Charges may continue from our POS partners if apps remain installed.Download Your Data
Before your account closes, export any transaction reports, customer data, or other records you may need for your business.
What Happens After Cancellation
Your Facilipay services will be deactivated at the end of the notice period.
Access to the Facilipay Business Portal and all associated data will be removed.
Your final invoice will be issued in the next billing cycle, covering the notice period.
