How to Change Your Email Address

Members can update the email address linked to their account directly within their LoyLap or Facilipay app, or their business's custom-branded app, keeping their account information accurate and accessible.

Before You Begin

  • You must have access to the email address currently linked to your member account — it is needed for verification.
  • Have your new email address ready before you start.
  • Make sure you can access the inbox of the new email address to confirm the update.

Step-by-Step: Update Your Email Address

  1. Open the App
    Sign in to your LoyLap or Facilipay app, or your business's custom-branded app on your device.

  2. Open Your Account Settings
    Tap Account, then select Profile Information.

  3. Select Change Email
    Tap Change Email, then enter your new email address when prompted.

  4. Verify the New Email
    Follow the on-screen verification steps. You may receive a confirmation link or security prompt sent to either your old or new email address — complete this step to confirm the update.

  5. Confirm the Update
    Once verification is complete, your new email address will be applied to your account immediately.


What Happens After You Update

  • Your member account is updated with the new email address.

  • You can now log in using the new email address.

  • Account notifications and receipts will be sent to the new email going forward.

  • Use an email you check regularly: Important account notifications, receipts, and reset links will be sent to this address.

  • Update across all your devices: If you use the app on more than one device, make sure to log in with your new email everywhere.
