Edit Cards

This article explains how to edit card details in the Facilipay Business Portal. You can update card information, view card balance, and manage card settings.

Before You Begin

You’ll need access to the Facilipay Business Portal with permissions to view and edit card records.


What You Can Do Here

In the Facilipay portal, you can:

  • View existing card details

  • Edit cardholder information

  • Update card status (active, inactive)

  • View transaction history and balances

  • Search for specific cards


Step-by-Step: Edit a Card

Follow these steps to make changes to a card in the Business Portal:

1. Log In to the Business Portal

Sign in to the Facilipay Business Portal using your authorised credentials.

2. Navigate to the Cards Section

From the main menu, select Cards to view all saved card records.

3. Search for a Card

Use the search field to find the card you want to edit. You can search by:

  • Card number

  • Cardholder name

  • Email address

4. Open the Card Details

Click the card you want to edit to open its details page.


Edit Card Information

Once on the card details page, you can update the following:

Cardholder Name

Modify the cardholder’s name if it was entered incorrectly or needs updating.

Contact Details

Update the cardholder’s email or phone number if necessary.

Card Status

You can change the card status:

  • Active – The card can be used for payments or rewards.

  • Inactive – The card is disabled and cannot be used for transactions.

Save Your Changes

After making edits, click Save to apply the changes.


View Card Balance and History

From the card details page you can also:

  • View the current balance

  • Check recent transactions

  • See reward history (if enabled)

This helps you confirm that the card has the correct balance and usage history.


Best Practices

  • Accurate Information: Ensure cardholder names and contact details are correct to avoid confusion.

  • Deactivate Lost or Unused Cards: If a card is lost or no longer needed, set its status to Inactive.

  • Double-Check Before Saving: Verify all edits before clicking Save.


Troubleshooting

If you cannot find a card:

  • Check that you entered the correct card number or search terms.

  • Try filtering by status (Active/Inactive).

  • Confirm you have permission to edit cards in your portal.

  • If issues persist, contact Facilipay Support for assistance.


After Saving

Once edits are saved:

  • Changes are reflected immediately in the Facilipay system.

  • Updated details will be used in future transactions or reports.
