How to Find Your Clover UID from Your Clover POS

Your Clover UID is a unique identifier we may sometimes ask for when assisting with account queries. There are two ways to retrieve it directly from your Clover device.

Option 1: Using the Diagnostics App

  1. Open Diagnostics
    From the Clover home screen, open the Diagnostics app.

    If you don't see Diagnostics: Open Help, tap the menu icon (top left), and select Diagnostics.

  2. View Device Details
    Scroll to the bottom of the screen and locate the Additional Details section.

  3. Find the Clover ID
    Look for the Clover ID — this will be an alphanumeric code unique to your device.


Option 2: Using the Facilipay App

  1. Open the Facilipay App
    Open your Facilipay app from the Clover home screen.

  2. Access Settings
    Tap the Settings icon at the bottom of the screen.

  3. Locate the UID
    The UID (Clover ID) will be displayed at the top of the screen.


Tips & Best Practices

  • Save it somewhere safe: Once you find the UID, save it for future support queries so you don't have to look it up each time.

  • Per-device IDs: Each Clover device has its own UID — check the specific device you are asking about.
