How to Link a Debit or Credit Card (Mobile App)
Linking a debit or credit card within your app allows faster in-store payments and seamless online ordering. Once linked, payments process automatically when scanning your QR code.
Before You Begin
- You'll need the LoyLap app or Facilipay app installed and be signed in.
- Have your debit or credit card details ready.
Step-by-Step: Link a Card
Open your app
Launch your app and sign in to your account.Select Add Money
Tap Add Money from the business home screen. You'll be prompted to link a payment card if one is not already connected.Enter Card Details
Tap Add and enter your card details when prompted. Ensure Save for Fast Checkout is enabled to allow quicker future payments.You may be required to approve the transaction through your mobile banking app for verification. Once approved, the card will be linked to your account.
What You Can Do With a Linked Card
Your debit or credit card is securely saved to your account. You can now:
- Scan your QR code in-store for automatic payment
- Use the saved card for faster online ordering
- Enable features such as Auto Load (if supported by the business)
Tips & Best Practices
Use a current card: Make sure the card hasn't expired before linking.
Approve verification quickly: Bank verification prompts can time out.
