Set Up Your Zebra DS2208 to Scan Facilipay QR Codes
Follow the steps below to configure your Zebra DS2208 scanner to read Facilipay 3D QR codes for contactless scanning.
1) Connect the Scanner
Plug the Zebra DS2208 USB cable into your POS system.
Once connected, the scanner should power on automatically.
The LED indicator (Position 1) should display a red light.
2) Scan Configuration Barcodes
Using the Zebra scanner, scan the configuration barcodes in the following order:
a) Factory Defaults
b) QR Code Configuration Barcode
Ensure both barcodes are scanned successfully before proceeding.
3) Test the Scanner
Open the Facilipay app on your POS system.
Scan a unique Facilipay QR code (e.g. from the mobile app or a physical card).
The customer account should automatically retrieve on screen.
Result
Your Zebra DS2208 scanner is successfully configured to scan Facilipay 3D QR codes for contactless customer identification.
