Who Has Access to My Data?
Both merchants and customers want to understand who can view or access the data stored in Facilipay systems and how it is protected. This article explains how access and security are managed.
Who Can Access Your Data
Only Facilipay and the merchants you use your account with have access to your details. To protect your information, we secure our systems with the following measures.
How Your Data Is Protected
PCI DSS Level 1 compliance: Our entire system is PCI DSS Level 1 compliant — the highest industry standard, covering a wide range of physical and technical security measures.
No stored card details: For payments, we never store credit card details ourselves. For cashless transactions, cards are tokenised, so the actual card number is never held in our systems.
Secure cloud infrastructure: Data is stored across three locations in Ireland and sits behind Amazon's industry-leading data architecture.
Tips & Best Practices
Use unique passwords: Always use a strong, unique password for your Facilipay account — this is your first line of defence.
Limit access to staff who need it: Only grant Facilipay access to employees who genuinely need it for their role.
