We ask for location access on our smartphone apps to help you discover merchants close to you. We never store this data or use it for any other purpose — it's solely for visibility and accessibility.


What Happens If You Decline

If you decline location access, you can still use your app, but the nearby business search feature will not show businesses local to you. You'll need to search for businesses by name instead.


How to Change Permission

You can change location permissions any time in your phone's settings:

  • iPhone: Settings → LoyLap or Facilipay → Location
  • Android: Settings → Apps → LoyLap or Facilipay → Permissions → Location

Tips & Best Practices

  • Use "While Using App": This setting balances functionality with privacy.
